Working with the Superintendent and a facilities & expansion committee, I created print and digital collateral to support two school bond measures that would improve and expand the local high school. The previous vote had failed and as the community and school populations grew, it was critical to engage with and inform the community about the bonds and their potential impact.
The bonds passed in the 2024 election.

I was asked to create a logo that would represent both bonds and could also work separately to represent the expansion and athletic bonds individually. I created four design directions and after one was selected honed it with color, text and icon explorations. Initially, the taglines were not especially connected so I came up with a new tagline for the athletic bond that tightened the relationship.

The key to passing these bonds was communicating clearly to the Whitefish community. Given the original bond (before it was broken into separate bonds) failed just a year earlier, it was important to communicate that public concerns were heard, adjustments were made, and the future success of the high school and its students depended on addressing growth and student needs.
Multiple public meetings were held where the 20-page slide deck was presented along with a flyer and posters showing the proposed changes. Coordinated with these meetings, a multi-month social media campaign featured specific school issues & solutions covered in the two bonds.
